I build and run the platform and growth surfaces of a direct-to-consumer subscription business. That means the Next.js and Node platform lane, the checkout and onboarding funnels behind thousands of orders a month, and the SMS and experimentation pipelines that feed them.
Most of my work sits where architecture meets the number the business is watching. I was the founding engineer on a small cross-functional conversion team that worked directly with product, analytics, and a senior executive to cut acquisition cost, and I own the migration lane that moved the onboarding funnel from BigCommerce to Shopify. I co-lead AI governance for the digital organization, and AI-assisted development has been my default workflow since 2025.
Before this I worked across React, React Native, Python, and Django in e-commerce and consumer products. I write occasionally about engineering judgment in the agent era, and about what it is like to do this work with ten years in.
